Easter is the most important event in history.
With so much information on the internet about spirituality and definitions about faith in God, it can be hard to define what is true or not.
It’s important to be discerning when we scroll through our news feed to determine whether something is click-bait or there is a hidden agenda. It would be nice if there was some kind of instant fact check with every story.
With so much bad news in the world, we need to hear some good news. Easter is the best news.
Can we be real with you?
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the centerpiece of the Christian faith.
When Jesus cried out, “It is finished!” and died on the cross, he did that for you. Three days later, when Jesus rose from the dead, he did that for you.
This is why Easter is so important.
God accepted Jesus’ perfect life and sacrificial death on our behalf as the full payment of all our sins. When Jesus rose again, it is a declaration of victory over death and sin. Faith receives what Christ has done for us. We are declared righteous, right now, and receive the full assurance of heaven.
Life today makes sense when there is perfect hope and peace reigns in our hearts despite our current circumstances.
“Life is real” when the reality of Jesus’ resurrection brings new life for all who believe in him.
Perhaps it’s time to hear the real truth about the resurrection and see Jesus in a new light.
The resurrection of Jesus brings true hope.
People define hope as a desire for something to happen or to be true. Without hope, life can easily lose its meaning and purpose.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the only answer for true hope. This event in history is the foundation of the Christian faith. Without the resurrection, there is no assurance about what Christ has done for us. His victory over death and sin gives certain assurance that God is faithful and delivers on his promises.
Resurrection reality declares the Easter message that Jesus lives.
